10-8-17 Attention students I have some several announcements to make
1. The syllabus that was handed out in class has been and re-posted on learning web. The calendar has been revised and can be found under the course information tab. Please download and be aware of changes to dates for exams including exam 1
2. Due to technical issues I created new accounts and require ever student to register with turnitin,com and remind. I have created a addendum to the syllabus and here is a copy what you need to do when uploading your papers:

2. We will have our second guest speaker on Thursday 11-2. More details will be available in class regarding refreshments on 10-31.
11-1-17 1. Reminder that we will have a guest speaker from the Montrose Center to start our new section of human development. You can bring a snack for 5 bonus points. Please be on time to class if you are late just come in, leave the door ajar, and the back chairs will be available in order to decrease any distractions
2. Test 2 is due on Tuesday 11-7-17. Make sure you DO NOT WRITE ON EXAM and use a SCANTRON available at the campus bookstore.
3. Rough drafts have been extended to Tuesday 11-7. Papers should be uploaded to turnitin.com and a physical copy turned into me

11-7-17 Attention class I sorted out the IT issue with turnitin.com. Above is the enrollment key and class id that you will need to enter my classroom. Please upload your rough draft into the appropriate link and turn in a physical copy. I will come to class for the next 2 weeks one hour before and one hour later to meet with each student to review their paper. It has been my experience that over 90% of students plagerize, do not follow instructions, do not use peer review articles, cite incorrectly, and/or are unfamiliar of the difference between a research paper and an essay that is appropriate for an english class. In order to give you the tools to succeed I like to meet with students 1-1 because due dates for the final paper are before finals and is a hectic time. Though meeting with me is completely voluntary I HIGHLY recommend it. I have the following students scheduled for tomorrow. If there are open slots please email me so I can add you to the list

2. Students it would behoove you to write a rough draft and I will allow submissions until Saturday at five. PLEASE take advantage of this or you will not be able to revise your final papers to improve your grades.

11-26-17 1. We will have our last guest speaker panel from NAMI the Tuesday we return from Thanksgiving break. Remember for 5 bonus points you can bring in a snack item
2. Papers are due Thursday at the beginning of class. All papers should be uploaded unto turnitin.com in addition to handing in a stapled physical copy at the start of class. Papers should be submitted under the final paper que in turnitin. Remember this is a required assignment and will not be dropped. Only students that submitted a rough draft will be allowed to make revisions
