Meet your Professor

Welcome to my class! I am looking forward to working with you this semester. As an English professor, I am very fond of reading and writing and enjoy helping my students to become the very best readers and writers. These two skills, reading and writing, are vital to your college success. Every activity and assignment in my class is designed and proven to allow you to not only be successful, but will give you the skill levels you need to enjoy learning.

I started my own college education at a community college, just like you. My first college English class was at San Jacinto College in Pasadena. That class began my journey to becoming an English professor at Houston Community College. During that journey of classes and teaching assignments, my skills as a reader and writer proved to be invaluable to my college and career success. It is my goal to give you the benefit of my own experiences as a student and as a teacher, tutor, and professor so that you can reach each of your educational and career goals.
