Guide for Theatre Report Planning
Select a topic that you have an interest in, then check out your research options. Use the internet, but also make a visit to a library – please!!!!
You will need at least three bibliographic sources to successfully complete your presentation. Wikipedia is not an acceptable source.
GUIDELINES:
1. Turn in your contract form with THREE choices for your project topic.
2. Sign up for a scheduled presentation time and note the time/date on your contract.
3. Your presentation needs to be at least 5 minutes long, but no more than 7 minutes. (time/plan your presentation!)
4. Do your research, keep notes, make an outline, create your handout, and rehearse!
5. Use the following public speaking/topic report format:
1. Introduction Define your topic

2. Content and Details Create a timeline
(3-5 minutes) List examples and note quotes
Record and reveal important details
