In a recent interview, Ms. Porcynaluk stated that two of her most exciting professional adventures were her summer of teaching Drawing in Florence, Italy in 2000, and her Sabbatical in 2007 in which she explored the non-toxic processes of solar plate etching and monoprinting. She brought those processes to her printmaking classes at HCC and her students experienced excellent results using professional water base inks, grained glass and digital manipulation of their photos and drawings.
