Introduction to Business Logistics (LMGT 1319)

The purpose of this course is to provide you with the fundamentals of formulating and implementing strategic supply management roles. Students will learn how supply management has a major impact on the firm’s bottom line. Students will focus on the firm’s supply environment and study the industries that provide key materials, equipment, and services; their cost structures, technologies, competitive nature, and their culture. Students will also learn about the continuous improvement, and improvement for profitability and survival. Introduction to Business Logistics is not just about textbook learning; it challenges students to use their critical/creative skills in all aspects of Business and Introduction to Business Logistics, not just those covered in this course.
