Instructions to access Mastering Biology through Eagle Online
First, make sure you have these 3 things…
Email: You'll get some important emails from your instructor at this address.
Course ID: Ask your instructor for your Course ID!
Access code or credit card: The required access code comes packaged with your book from the HCC bookstore. Alternatively, you can buy instant access with a credit card or PayPal account during registration.
Next, get registered!
- Go to pearsonmylabandmastering.com.
- Under Register, select Student.
- Confirm you have the information needed, then select OK! Register now.
- Enter your instructor’s Course ID: and Continue.
- Enter your existing Pearson account username and password to Sign In.
- You have an account if you have ever used a Pearson MyLab & Mastering product, such as MyMathLab, MyITLab, MySpanishLab, MasteringBiology or MasteringPhysics.
- If you don’t have an account, select Create and complete the required fields.
- Select an access option.
- Enter the access code that came with your textbook or was purchased separately from the bookstore.
- Buy access using a credit card or PayPal account.
- If available, get temporary access by selecting the link near the bottom of the page.
- Very Important! Special pricing has been negotiated for HCC students. Purchases made outside of the HCC Bookstore OR Mastering registration process will not work!
- From the “You’re Done!” page, select Go to My Courses.
- On the “My Courses” page, select the course to start your work.
To sign in later:
- Go to pearsonmylabandmastering.com.
- Select Sign In.
- Enter your Pearson account username and password, and Sign In.
- Select the course to start your work.
To upgrade temporary access to full access:
- Go to pearsonmylabandmastering.com.
- Select Sign In.
- Enter your Pearson account username and password, and Sign In.
- Select Upgrade Access.
- Enter an access code or buy access with a credit card or PayPal account.
