- Develop an appreciation of the dimensions of subjective well-being and its application to their lives.
- Cite research that supports the principles, the strategies, and the skills of psychology of personal adjustment.
CSLO 2: Principles of Adjustment
- Explain the empirical roots of happiness and well-being.
CSLO 3: Skills for Well Being
- Assess their levels of stress and develop coping strategies for stress management.
- Become more aware of student strengths, virtues and learn strategies to increase their happiness and overall quality of life.
- Recognize the contribution of creativity and optimism to adjustment
- Understand the nature of psychological problems and variations in therapies
CLSO 4: Optimizing Well Being
- Acquire techniques to increase satisfaction with families and personal relationships. Experience a stable increase in happiness, as a result of practicing happiness-inducing activities.
