Intro to Ethics (Phil 2306)

An introduction to the study of moral reasoning. Topics include the meaning and importance of individual and social morality in human life, the major systems of ethical theory (ethics of virtue, ethics of duty) as they apply to the study of such moral problems such as capital punishment, medicine, euthanasia, abortion, and other areas of moral consideration.
