United States History to 1877 (HIST 1301)

History 1301 is a survey of American History from “Discovery” to 1877. A survey course touches on a variety of important topics but does not provide a deep and thorough covering of the addressed topic. The purpose of this class is to historicize and analyze American history so that students can make informed statements regarding the significance of the American past.
