RE: HCCS MUSIC BUSINESS STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM NAME OF STUDENT: XXXXX

HCCS INSTRUCTOR/ADVISOR: Dr. Aubrey Tucker

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN;

The above named student has enrolled for the current semester in MUSB 2381, “Cooperative Education- Music Business Management and Merchandising”, and wishes to apply to your company for a student internship position, or has already done so. It is emphasized that the selection of students for this cooperative education internship experience is solely at the discretion of the workplace sponsor. While the termination of the internship is also at the sponsor’s discretion, the company is urged to try to meet the student’s responsibility to complete a semester of internship to successfully complete this course. Work hours should approximate a half-time job. This class is required for both the Music Business Certificate and the Associate in Applied Science Degree. It is requested that your company designate a sponsor representative, usually the intern’s immediate supervisor, to team with the above named HCCS instructor/advisor regarding student progress through the internship. Upon your acceptance of a student intern, please have your designated sponsor representative contact my office so that this partnership may be arranged, and that we may discuss the student internship more fully. It is hoped that you will encourage and plan the widest possible educational experiences for the student as he or she does internship tasks for your company.

Thank you so much for participating in the HCCS internship program!

Sincerely, Aubrey S. Tucker, DMA, Program Coordinator
