Alternative Assignment for Class - Monday, 04 March 2019
As announced in class, I must answer a jury summons on Monday, 04 March 2019, and no substitute was available to teach our scheduled course meeting. Please see the paragraph below and have the indicated assignment ready to hand in on Wednesday, 06 March 2019.
In lieu of our regular class meeting, please read the sections on Marginal analysis and demand functions on pages 613 - 616 of the textbook, including the examples. In your own words, briefly explain how the marginal revenue function R'(x) and the marginal profit function P'(x) are interpreted. In a similar statement, give an interpretation of the demand function, p described at the bottom of page 615.
