Dr. Danielle Stagg received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication/Radio-TV in May 2002 from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.  While at SFA, Dr. Stagg was actively involved in Alpha Chi, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., National Order of Omega, and the National Pan-Hellinic Council.  Dr. Stagg returned to her hometown of Houston in 2002, to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations; she graduated from University of Houston with her Masters degree in May 2006.  Dr. Stagg received her Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership at Sam Houston State University in May 2017.

Dr. Stagg spent seven years, working as an Assistant Director at a local-non-profit organization in Houston, TX; her duties included completing various Human Resources, Office Management, and Public Relations assignments.  Dr. Stagg began teaching as an adjunct faculty member in the Fall of 2007.  In the Spring of 2010, Dr. Stagg became a full-time faculty member at Houston Community College Southwest.   Dr. Stagg teaches Introduction to Communication (1311), Public Speaking (1315), Interpersonal Communication (1318), Business and Professional Communication (1321) and Voice and Diction (1342).  Dr. Stagg strives to create an engaging learning environment that encourages students to develop their communication skills with confidence. 

Dr. Stagg currently serves as the Division Chair for Speech, Communication, and Sign Language. 

In her free time, Dr. Stagg enjoys traveling, going out to eat, watching football, playing with her Bichon Frise, and spending time with family and friends.
