Building Codes and Inspections (CNBT 1342)

Instructor: Don Kerl

CNTB 1342 is intended to give the student an understanding on the purpose for Codes, how Codes were developed, how Codes are organized, how it is likely to be interpreted and how they apply to the Design and Construction industry. The primary focus will be on the International Building Code, however other codes and requirements (such as the American Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Fair Housing Act of 1988) will be discussed to understand their impact on the Design and Construction Industries.
