Web Page Development (ITSC 1319)

ITSC 1319 is a study of the Internet concepts and the introduction to web page design and web site development. Topics include installing, configuring and troubleshooting content management systems (CMS), using web applications, and being able to publish website onto live production.

This is a Second-Start, 12-week long Web Page Development course.  The main method of communication that we use is Canvas email, discussions and assignments.  Please read the syllabus for the course description, pre-requisites, student learning outcomes, required textbook, instructional material, course assignments, assessments, as well as other course policies (participation, makeup, etc.).  Pay special attention to the Course Calendar section for assignments/assessments due dates, and to review HCC policies.  As the course progresses, you may encounter challenging ideas or difficulties completing your coursework.  I am available to support you.  My goal is for you to finish the course with a solid understanding of how to create a website, how to install, configure and troubleshoot content management systems, how to use web applications and be able to publish website onto live production.  Please visit me, or contact me by email, whenever you have a question.
