Welcome to Midi 1!

Welcome to Midi 1 (i.e. MUSC 1331), I’m delighted that you have chosen this course. This course is designed to give you a comprehensive overview of creating and producing music using midi and a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). For this semester, we will be using an online DAW called Soundation. I’ve designed the course for both the beginner and the more experienced music creator. You will be producing and creating tracks using both loops and midi input from your controller keyboard. If you do not own a midi piano/keyboard or synth - we have controllers that can be checked out from the school. I am looking forward to having you here this semester.
