Human Anatomy & Physiology 1 Lecture Course (BIOL 2301)

This is Human Anatomy & Physiology (Part 1) Lecture course at HCC.
The objective of this course is to give health sciences students a basic knowledge
of Human Anatomy & Physiology. Topics include anatomical terminology, homeostasis,
tissues
and 4 out of 11 systems (Integumentary, Skeletal, Muscular and Nervous).
You must purchase the required textbook and obtain access code for Pearson
Mastering in order to complete
mandatory assignments. Study guide is optional but
highly recommended for this robust course.

HCC Eagle Online CANVAS Learning Management System (eagleonline.hccs.edu)
will be used for communication and to deliver study tools. You will also be required to
register on McGraw-Hill CONNECT web site to access mandatory, graded chapter
quizzes and other study tools (refer to the syllabus).
For on-campus course, you will be required to attend 1.5 hour lectures twice a
week during Fall and Spring Semesters, while 2.15 hours Monday through Thursday
during 5 week Summer Semesters, at Central College. 
For online course, you will study using the tools provided in CANVAS and testing will
be online and on-campus at one of the designated HCC Testing Centers.
The syllabus posted at this site may be adjusted to accommodate changes in
HCC policies. All updates will be posted in Eagle Online that 
will be available on
the first day of the semester.
