Introduction to the Theatre (DRAM 1310)

THE STUDY AND EXPLORATION OF THE ELEMENTS OF THEATRE.

This course reveals and explores what is required for the production of theatre, both live and film. It addresses the playwright, the director, the producer, acting, character analysis, mode of the play (comedy, tragedy, tragi-comedy, etc.) theatre spaces, costumes, make-up, lighting, sound, and especially the importance of the audience.
