Humanities classes will not have a required textbook; we will use open-source material instead that will be provided on the HUMA 1301 course website or linked to it.
This course explores the question "What Does It Mean to be Human?" by analyzing human arts and artifacts to see what they tell us about who we are and the cultures we create. We won't come to any definitive answers, but the process itself is interesting...and hopefully enjoyable.
