Special Topics in Cosmetology/Cosmetologist Summer 2021 (CSME 1391)

Introduce the student to all principles in relations to client services in a salon. It also will introduce you to the client’s populations and attitudes (behaviors) that are related to the professional development of the student. Will assist the student to understand the elements required to deal with elements to succeed in people skills. Teach the student to become self-directed and to deal with important concepts that will address life skills and client relations. Life skills help students to create a personal foundation for career success. Students will learn how to launch a successful career by practicing professionalism when working with and for clients. Students will learn how to make professional decisions, set goals and practice being professional while servicing their clients. This course is a 2 lecture and 2 lab course and upon completion of this semester, the student will be awarded 3 college credit hours.
