As an award winning actor and director, Michelle Robinson is in pre-production for a number of current projects in the Southwest Texas/Bay Area.  The movie she directed recently, "With Dad," has received the Outstanding Director Award.  Michelle was recently the first Female President of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists in Houston.  She has been a local Board Member and the AFTRA President for 10 years.  Michelle is a  actor, director, producer and writer and received her Master's Degree from the University of Houston.  She has recently directed and starred in her most current production "Sherlock Holmes and the Ice Palace Murders" at CCCT in Houston, in addition to directing AND starring in "Graceland" as a fund-raiser for the Theatre Company where she is on the Board of Directors.  She is also on TV in the movie "The Preacher's Daughter," shot on location in Houston, TX.  Watch for her next TWO back -to-back movie productions, to be filmed in Houston in summer.  Michelle is one of the producers of these two films, as well as being a featured actor in both!  Michelle's goal is this:  "I want to bring more movies (both TV and feature film,) commercials, and theatre into the city of Houston and the Gulf Coast area, so Houston will be known as a LEADER in this genre." Michelle recently formed a production company in the Houston/Galveston area, Chicago Gypsy Productions, with Amey Richards, also a SAG-AFTRA member.  Current works include directing and producing the full-length stage play, "The Miss Firecracker Contest."  As a force to be reckoned with, Michelle Robinson will be as asset to you as you work on your goals of being a working professional in the Film Industry.  Michelle is also working with a new production company and recently completed a SAG AFTRA short called, "R.O.M.M."  This will be produced and made into a feature length film.
