Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) (CIT ET 1480)

Instructor: Normajean Brand

Instructional materials are considered to be forms of communication between professors and students and must therefore be delivered in a manner that is equally effective for persons with disabilities. This class covers universal design and its effects on computer-based education, illustrates how to design "accessible" instruction, addresses student retention and participation, and provides reasonable accommodations for disabled students.
