Forms of Literature (ENGL 2341)

Forms of Literature is the study of one or more literary genres including, but not limited to, poetry, fiction, drama, and film. This course satisfies the Language, Philosophy and Culture or Component Area Option of the HCC core. Prerequisite: Prerequisite: ENGL 1301

This Forms of Literature course will consist of Literature and Film, an introduction to film form and its relationship to literary form. Students will read poems, novels, and essays and view experimental feature and documentary film. Discussion and papers will center on the parallel influence and development of form in both mediums.
