Basic Computer Illustration Fall 2021 (ARTC 1309)

Instructor: Reginald Leathers

Learning to draw is not only an enriching artistic ability but it’s also the foundation of many advance skills like graphic design, web design and similar design courses. In this course we learn how to integrate the art into the curriculum boosts comprehension and retention. It stimulates differentiated learning, promotes collaboration, enhances critical thinking and encourages right brain visual impact perception.

This class is for all levels of experience. If you’ve never drawn before it will take you step-by- step through a process to learn
fundamental skills. If you’ve been drawing for a while, it will help you build on your talent and provide insight for improvements.
Every time I teach this course, I learn right along with the students because illustration is not about the finished drawing but the
process of looking and seeing with new vision and clarity.
