Speech of Occassion-Group Speech

Group Speech Assignment

Out in the real world, you are most likely to be called upon to give a speech at some special occasion: a banquet, reception, birthday, funeral, or some other type of gathering.  To practice this kind of speech, your next assignment is to write a special occasion speech. This speech will highlight a special organization, or person that is dedicated to a particular cause i.e. Aids research, breast cancer, racial harmony, environment, etc.

Time: 7-15 minutes group presentation

Speech should be manuscript, unlike our other speeches this will not be in outline form

The clincher: It must sound extemporaneous.

It must include a visual aid.
