Introduction to Humanities (HUMA * 19065 1301- Spring 2022)

This course is excited because HUMA 1301 exposes learners to a broad base/interdisciplinary study that includes various topics in the humanities—from ancient times to the present. Learners have the opportunity to discover their passion and find their authentic purpose as relates to their academic ambitions and career. HUMA 1301 emphasizes cultural diversity and explores human values. Cultural diversity—learners acquire a global outlook and perception where they develop a personal perspective and taste and participate in both local and global academic communities. Human values: Learners obtain an enthusiasm for the arts in unique ways as they study topics in history, philosophy, sociology, culture, literature and contemporary issues related to humanity whereby context allows for clarifying and validating values.
