William C. Nantz, CPA, CFE, CFF, CGMA, PTIN, MBA, JD

William Nantz “Bill” graduated from Texas Tech with a BBA in Accounting and obtained his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. He also received an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management with distinction, is a Certified Public Accountant and is certified in Financial Forensics by the AICPA. Bill is also the founder of the Nantz Law Firm.

As an Accounting Professor at Houston Community College Bill frequently lectures on financial forensics, fraud auditing & examination, accounting, business regulation, tax matters, ethics, and law; he was a co-teacher of the 2008 “Foundations of Financial Planning” in the Rice University Certified Financial Planner Program through its Continuing Studies program; and he is a continuing professional education speaker. He worked as a Big – 4 auditor, Controller and CFO.

He has over 20 years of experience in litigation, accounting and financial forensics, contract negotiation, business structuring, tax matters, and CPA licensure. He handles litigation for corporations and individuals including litigating business disputes, commercial cases and personal injury claims. He is experienced as an auditor, controller and CFO; and provides expert testimony on financial forensics, accounting and related matters. He provides consulting, litigation, and expert testimony services with an emphasis on ethical reasoning and regulatory compliance. Having represented diverse corporate and individual clients in state and federal courts, Bill offers experience, knowledge and integrity that fit the needs of each client's business interest and financial success.

Bill is Texas State Board of Public Accountancy approved to teach accounting and business ethics in a semester-long, senior level college course for 3 hours of credit, emphasizing core values such as ethical reasoning, integrity and independence. This course is an educational requirement to take the Uniform CPA Exam in Texas.

Bill hold a PTIN issued by the IRS.

Bill is also a test item writer for the Uniform CPA Exam.
