Ideas for Non-Travel Related Use of Professional Development Funds

Magazine/Journal Subscriptions that provide continuing education for faculty:

*All receipts submitted for reimbursement must have an HCC shipping address. Also, reimbursement request must be submitted no later than July 31 of the current budget year.

 Procedures:

  1. Receive all approvals from campus personnel.
  2. Confirm with Faculty Academy via email the amount of funds available for use; only submit request to:
  3. Make the purchase.
  4. Submit “Direct Pay” documents for reimbursement to Faculty Academy for verification of funds either through interoffice mail using Mail Code 1124, or drop them off at 3100 Main to the Institute for Instructional Engagement & Development – third floor. *
  5. Receive all approvals from district personnel.

*NOTE: You may expect a 24 to 48 hour response time from Faculty Academy for email and paperwork to be processed to the office of Instructional Administrative Services.
