Managing Faculty Members Within a Subject Area

There is a link called "Faculty Members" in the profile section on the main page of the Subject Area. Clicking on this link takes the user to a directory of all faculty members who have identified themselves with this discipline.

As the content manager for a particular Subject Area, you do not have direct means to remove or add faculty that do not appear in this directory. However, if there are faculty members who do not belong to the particular discipline/program area, you can contact the Learning Web administrator and request that they be removed from the directory. The faculty member will be contacted to confirm that they do not actively teach in the area in question and it will be removed from their profile if that is the case.

To have faculty members who should be listed in the subject but are not, encourage that they update their profiles to include the subject. Faculty can associate themselves with multiple Subject Areas under their personal profile.
